These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of https://shinewashingglow.world (the “Site”), operated by Shinewashingglow.world from the Netherlands. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Nature of the Site and content

The Site provides general educational information about workspace ergonomics, desk setup, and related lifestyle topics. Content is for informational purposes only.

The Site is not:

• Medical, physiotherapy, psychological, or emergency healthcare advice;
• Occupational health assessment or employer-mandated risk assessment;
• A substitute for advice from qualified professionals or your employer’s obligations under Dutch or EU workplace law.

We do not guarantee specific results, comfort outcomes, or performance improvements. Individual circumstances vary. The top-of-page disclaimer applies to all content.

3. Eligibility

The Site is intended for users aged 16 and over. By using the Site, you confirm you meet this age requirement or have parental consent where required by law.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Site lawfully and not to:

• Attempt unauthorised access, disrupt servers, or introduce malware;
• Scrape or systematically copy content in breach of these Terms or applicable law;
• Submit unlawful, defamatory, or infringing material via the contact form;
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation.

We may restrict access if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms.

5. Intellectual property

Text, graphics, layout, logos, and other materials on the Site are protected by copyright and related rights. Unless permitted by mandatory law, you may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from substantial parts of the Site without our prior written consent.

You may link to public pages using a fair and accurate reference that does not suggest endorsement or partnership.

6. Workshops, events, and paid services

Event listings on the Site are invitations to enquire. They do not constitute a binding offer until we confirm availability, price, date, location, and other terms in writing (email is sufficient). Advertisements and landing pages (including Google Ads in the Netherlands) describe the same free guides and optional workshops—no hidden products or undisclosed fees.

If you book a paid workshop or session as a consumer (natural person acting for purposes outside your trade or profession) and the contract is concluded at a distance (online/phone), you may have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 calendar days under Dutch and EU consumer law (implementation of the Consumer Rights Directive in the Burgerlijk Wetboek Book 6 and 7), unless an exception applies (e.g. services fully performed with your prior express consent before the period ends). We will inform you of applicable withdrawal rights, exceptions, and any refund rules before payment.

Prices shown or discussed will state whether Dutch VAT (BTW NL001419085B07) is included where applicable. Cancellation and refund terms will be communicated before you pay.

7. Free content

Website guides and articles are provided free of charge. We may modify or remove content at any time without notice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted under Dutch law:

• The Site and content are provided “as is”. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
• We are not liable for indirect damage, consequential loss, lost profit, or loss of data arising from use of the Site or reliance on its content.
• Our aggregate liability for direct damage arising from our attributable breach in connection with the Site is limited to €100, except where limitation is not permitted by mandatory law.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory Dutch or EU consumer protection law.

If you are a consumer, you retain all mandatory rights under the laws of your country of residence where they cannot be waived by contract.

9. External links and embeds

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or embeds (e.g. Google Maps on the Contact page). We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Use them at your own risk subject to the third party’s terms.

11. Complaints and dispute resolution

If you have a complaint about the Site or our services, contact us at mailuse@shinewashingglow.world. We aim to respond within 14 business days.

If you are a consumer in the EU, you may use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged to participate in alternative dispute resolution before a consumer board unless required by law.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts in the Netherlands, with preference for the court having jurisdiction over Amsterdam where permitted. If you are a consumer residing in the EU, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of habitual residence where mandatory consumer rules so provide.

13. Severability and changes

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect. We may update these Terms; the “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after publication of material changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. For consumers, material changes to disadvantageous terms may require your explicit consent under Dutch law.
